Creative Mentorship with Mastrius
I am so pleased to announce that beginning in July of 2026 I will be leading mentorship groups with Mastrius, a global online platform that connects artists with artist mentors (that's me!) If you have ever wanted to grow your creative practice, voice, and style, as well as get feedback and tips in a very supportive, small group environment this is for you!
In this group, we will explore both the technical and creative aspects of frame-loom artistry. Together we will focus on building the skills you need to execute beautiful and professionally woven works, develop your own creative voice and style, and work to build a solid creative practice for yourself.
Starting with the techniques, I will share about how to choose the best loom & tools for your project, and we will go over key weaving stitches to ensure that you have the foundations needed to progress. Color theory and composition are specialties of mine, so we will play around with some creative exercises that will help you to stretch your capabilities and incorporate these skill sets into your own work. I am a big believer in regular creative making, so we will also explore ways to develop a consistent practice for yourself that will help you to build your style and voice.
Additionally, this is also a space where we can grow your practice to live outside of the studio — marketing, selling your work, and building a small business are all areas that I have extensive experience in with my own creative practice.

Can't wait to see you there!
Slow Poke: A Creative Community coming Summer 2026
Slow Poke is a monthly membership for frame loom weavers who want to build a practice that actually fits their life — unhurried, exploratory, and rooted in community. Together we will explore monthly creative prompts, gather for live community making calls, and keep each other company on the messy, beautiful road of building a real creative practice. The thread that holds it all together? Intentional community. The kind where people show up, share honestly, and make space for the whole creative journey — not just the highlight reel.
