Beginners Fiber Emballage Workshop with Jen of Nova Mercury

I’ve had so many requests for a fiber emballage workshop - so here we go!
In this three hour online workshop, we will cover the basics of fiber emballage (or fiber wrapping), and we will work on creating a small wrapped and knotted wall hanging together from start to finish.
The workshop is live and will take place over zoom- you will be emailed a zoom link the week of the workshop. The workshop will be recorded so if you cannot attend live, the recording will be sent to you afterwards. The recording is yours to keep, and you can watch it as many times as you need.
The workshop is designed for beginners who have never done fiber wrapping before so no experience necessary.
I will show you how to tie your knot two ways - so you can choose the final look for your project!
Materials are included!
Included in your kit will be:
- a piece of 1” cotton rope for wrapping
-A selection of fibres in a rainbow of colours!
-Warp thread to hang your piece with
-Tapestry needle
(You will need to provide scissors and a fork or a small comb.)
